March 10 & 24 6:30 – 7:30
It’s not always the easiest task to entertain your young ones at an art exhibition on landscapes of the 1800s. That’s why we’d love to let them become a part of the art themselves! We are offering two finger painting workshop in the month of March for anyone ages 5+ to paint their own versions of a Hudson River School landscape.
Each of the two nights will be guided by one of our expert finger painting instructors.
There will be protective clothing covers to keep clothes clean and encourage a fully immersive artistic experience. A wide variety of paint colors and canvases sizes will also be provided for all sorts of fun.
This event is not only for children either! Parents and teens are also welcomed to dip their fingertips in!
Lastly, each beautiful finger paint masterpiece will be photographed at the end of each night and added to a virtual gallery on our website!
Be sure to check out our new exhibition The Poetry of Nature: Hudson River School Landscapes soon!
